1933 Tazio Nuvolari Universal Geneve watch.
This amazing timepiece was given to Tazio – the 11th winner of the 24 Heures du Mans, who drove the ’Figoni’ Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 to victory with Raymond Sommer. This was the only time Tazio raced at Le Mans. The watch has been inscribed at the back Tazio Nuvolari, 1933, 24 Heures du Mans. The case is gold and the case back is stainless steel and marked ‘6782670’. The original box is included, as presented after the 1933 Le Mans victory. This manual winding timepiece is fully functional, and bears a small case diameter of 30mm – fitting for Tazio who was just 160 cm/5’2″ tall!
This is an amazing piece of Alfa Romeo and motorsport history!
