1951 Gran Premio Automobilistico V Centenario Colombiano trophy.
This trophy is dated Genova 20 Maggio 1951. It has what appears to be a relief of Columbus’s ship on the bronze spine, which is detached from the marble base. It came from the Jacques Swaters collection and is most likely from a Ferrari, and possible even an Alberto Ascari car as that was the theme of his collection.
The assembled trophy measures 13″ tall and makes for a very beautiful and unique display piece.
