1954 Carrera Panamericana Mexico original event poster.
This rare original poster shows artwork by Aguilar of a speeding Ferrari passing the chequered flag. It is in fine condition, linen mounted and measures over 3 feet tall (27×37.5″). It is one of two styles of official posters published for the 5th running of this famous event, which was won by Umberto Maglioli in his Ferrari 375 Plus Pininfarina. The second place finish went to Phil Hill and Richie Ginther in their Ferrari 375 MM Vignale, and third place to Hans Herrmann in his Porsche 550 Spyder. (nmp)
