										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Bernd Rosemeyer in the <strong>Auto-Union</strong> C-Type Streamliner aggressively pursues the lead of Rudolf Caracciola in his Mercedes W25 Streamliner at the AVUS. Caracciola won the race but it was Rosemeyer&#8217;s 4:11.2 lap time at an average speed of 276.39 kph that made the history books, a record that remained unbroken for 34 years.</p>
