This original ‘Thank You’ card has been hand signed by the late Enzo Ferrari in his trademark violet pen and dated Natale (Christmas) 1986.  The factory postcard measures 16 x 10.5cm / 6.5 x 4.25″ and is in very good condition with matching postmarked envelope dated ’23/1/87′ made out to Jean Francois Marchet of France.

Celebrating their 60th Anniversary in 2007, Ferrari organized a ‘Ferrari 60th Relay’. It kicked off on January 28th in Abu Dhabi, and concluded in Maranello on June 24th. After traversing about 50 countries in 148 days the relay baton was passed around globally, even in the hands of Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa. The central theme was technological innovation pioneered by Ferrari in the 60 years of its existence. For the occasion, Ferrari assembled its 60 most important innovations, ranging from aluminum pliers for disc brakes to the electric differential and the F1 gearbox.

• The special large baton for the Ferrari 60 Relay was specially created to symbolize the history of the company, from its first success at the 1947 Rome GP to the 2006 FXX.

Select clients were invited to carry and ‘relay’ the baton around the world in their Ferraris. In commemoration of the grand event, Ferrari manufactured and offered for sale 500 numbered examples of this wonderful masterpiece, of which ours is number 131.

The Ferrari Relay Baton is made from turned, lacquered aluminum and bears 60 enameled symbols representing the most significant events in the company’s history. It was created by designers Marosini & Mezzanotti and manufactured by VeCa using F1 technologies with assistance from Editalia Gruppo & Zecca dello Stato on the symbols.

• A strictly limited edition of just 500 numbered batons were made in all, and it sold out immediately back in 2007, with apparently less than 10 coming to North America!

This bronze Cavallino is held on a two piece solid marble plinth and base. The plinth bears a bronze ribbon with ‘A Motor’ in raised lettering, a coloured enamel Ferrari emblem, and three bronze racing cars in relief (500 F2). It also bears a brass plaque with ‘1952-53-54’ (Championship Years) in raised lettering.

The trophy measures 5.5×5.5×17” / 13.5×13.5×43 cm and is quite heavy and in very good condition. There are many reference photos showing Enzo handing these out at various award dinners in the mid 1950s and some of these are documented in the Ferrari yearbooks.

This is the 2nd Edition in Italian, published by Arbe Officine Grafiche Modena, 1980. It is limited to 3000 copies and is 230 pages long. This book is in excellent condition and inside the cover page is a little envelope with a written inscription by Enzo (not signed).

This vintage Larin  clock was made in Germany in the 1930s especially for Enzo Ferrari. It hung in his home office and was later transferred to his office at the new Factory when it was built. The clock’s outstanding feature is its self-winding battery mechanism: Enzo Ferrari did not want to waste time winding it up himself and also didn’t want anyone else coming into his office to do it. This special clock can be seen in the background in various interviews with famous racing drivers and personalities.

• It measures 27cm / 11″ in diameter and is accompanied by a letter from the man who received it prior to auctioning it off for charity in Modena.

This rare original book was printed by the Ferrari Factory (Arbe Grafiche – Modena) in a limited edition of 1000 copies in Italian. It is in excellent condition and has a Ferrari notecard attached inside on which Enzo has written – molti auguri  (best wishes) in purple marker.

The book contains photos, a brief biography, and Enzo’s personal opinion on 53 Italian journalists. It is 116 pages long with a textured ‘cork’ cover.

Note that this book was never sold, it was gifted by Enzo to friends.

This biography has been hand signed and inscribed in violet ink on the inside cover (translated from Italian) – To ‘Contessa’ with much good friendship Ferrari ’64.

This Fourth Edition copy is thought to have been gifted to one of Enzo’s mistresses. The book has a worn dust jacket patched with tape but is in otherwise good condition and printed in Italian.

This was the first race Enzo Ferrari ever attended as a young boy. In many books (Piloti Che Gente, Le mie gioie terribili, Le corse ruggente & La Ferrari e Modena), Enzo Ferrari himself talks about 2 races which he saw as a young boy that defined his future life, the Circuito di Bologna and the Record del Miglio in Modena in 1909 (and it’s that last one that really convinced him to do something with cars).
