1970 Porsche 917K s/n 017 rear cowl.

This exceptional piece of Porsche history is from chassis 017, and matches the style of cowl used at the 1000km of Monza where Jo Siffert and Derek Bell piloted the car to second place. The car began life as 917-004 in 1969 but was retitled by Porsche as 017 in 1970 after a severe crash. This is an original section from the car, that was repainted over the years by its newer owners. It measures approximately 75.5 x 84″ and 28″ tall to the top of the fins.

What a stunning display piece for your Porsche garage!

This 917 part is expensive but a fraction of the price of the $20M+ car….enquire.

1/6 1970 Porsche 917K

This is a huge replica of the Gulf sponsored Porsche 917 K driven by Jo Siffert & Brian Redman at 1970 Le Mans. The very same liveried 917 was driven by Steve McQueen in the movie Le Mans.

This very large scale hand built model measures nearly 3 feet long (32″ / 81cm). It is complete with opening doors, engine and hood. Back around 2010, a tiny edition of 25 were supposed to be built by a private artisan in France, but in the end, less than 15 were constructed.

The model is made from over 1200 parts – roughly 600 resin and 600 metal. It is the largest most detailed vintage Porsche replica made, and is complete with wood base and plexiglass cover (33 x 17 x 11.5″ / 84 x 43 x 29cm)

Note – the entire series is long sold out, we have just one left!
