This lovely original poster features artwork by iconic art deco artist Pierre Fix-Masseau. It measures over three feet tall  (24.5×39″ / 63x99cm) and is perfect to hang in your garage, office, den or museum!

The artwork features the gorgeous Figoni et Falaschi  bodied Delahaye 135 M amidst the backdrop of the famous Monte Carlo casino. It commemorates the 1937 Monte Carlo Rally, at which a competition version of the car won first place.

• Pierre Fix-Masseau (1905 – 1994) was the son of French sculptor Pierre Felix-Masseau. He worked closely with master designer A.M. Cassandre from 1926 to 1928, who had a profound influence on his art deco style. Pierre is best remembered for his posters featuring railway and automotive themes.

This vintage original was printed by Atelier Mourlot in 1989 on heavyweight paper and is in excellent condition. (x5rx x1sx)

The brochure measures 7×8″ closed and is 10 pages long and printed in French text. Highlighted inside are the 1937 & 1938 seasons with Delahaye, and photos and technical specifications for each car- Type 134 (4CV & 12CV), Type 135 Sport (Chapron), the Coupes des Alpes,  Type 148 L, and the super rare Type 145 12 cylinder.

• It is in fine condition but with holes punched.

This is a 4 page fold in French with excellent covers and in overall good condition. It measures 8.25x 10.5″ (21x27cm). There is a vertical and horizontal crease due to the way it was stored (probably in a glovebox).
