This trophy was given to Scheckter for achieving 2nd place in his Ferrari 312 T4 s/n 040. 1979 was the South African driver’s Championship Year as well! The other side of the silver plated 19″ tall trophy has the cup inscribed with race finish and date details. zzz

This original cup was awarded to Stefan for 3rd place in Ferrari F1/86 s/n 089. This 15″ tall trophy is set on a thick marble base with a name plate. zzz

This is an original ACO enamel sign that hung over the pits. It is in good condition for its age, but with the expected rust and patina from both use and time. It measures approximately 26″ along each of the three sides. The bottom writing is partially covered with corrosion but reads – Panonceau Valable Pour – which translates to ‘Sign Valid For’ followed by the year ‘1931’ below. You can see this exact ACO triangular style of logo on the 1931 rulebook showing here.

This year’s race was won by the Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 LM of Birkin & Howe followed by a Mercedes SSKL and a Talbot.
