This is an extremely rare original 2nd place trophy awarded to Niki Lauda for driving Ferrari 312 T2 s/n 031 to a podium finish at his home race.

This carved wooden folk art trophy is quite large at 31.5″ / 80cm wide and 13″ / 33cm tall. To the rear is the original maker’s label from Feldkirch, Austria.

This original team award is a lovely piece of early McLaren history. The Can-Am racing season was swept by McLaren, whose founder Bruce McLaren won the championship over teammate and fellow New Zealander Denny Hulme in the M8B.

Bruce won six races to Denis’s five, winning the championship by a mere five points. That season Team McLaren also raced the M12, M6A, M6B & M1C cars.

The large trophy measures 16 x 8.5 x 3.75″ / 41 x 22 x 9.5cm and is in good condition but with minor handling wear.

This rare original trophy was awarded to Campari for second place, piloting the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750.  It measures 11″ / 28cm tall and has a wooden base. The trophy is silver and hallmarked ‘800’.

IV Coppa Ciano was an event founded by the Auto Club Livorno and held on August 3rd 1930.
The race was won by Luigi Fagioli in a Maserati 26M.

This 14″ /36cm tall original silver trophy was awarded to Luigi Villoresi in his Maserati 4CL s/n 1586 on Jan 17 at Parco Palermo in Buenos Aires. The cup itself is silver plated and measures 10″ high and 10″ wide. It is inscribed – Automovil Club Argentino, Premio Ciudad De Buenos Aires, Circuito De Palermo, 17 De Enero De 1948 – and the opposite side it is inscribed with the sponsor – Cigarrillos Piloto – which was a popular cigarette brand at the time.

This race was part of the South American Formula Libre/Temporada series.

This is quite simply a stunning trophy and lovely piece of Maserati / Argentina race history.

This original cup was given to Vittorio ‘Tino’ Brambilla for first place in Ferrari 166 F2 Dino s/n 0004. This silver plated cup is 12″ /  30cm tall and inscribed –

Ehrenpreis des Ministerprasidenten Dr. Hans Filbinger – Preis Von Baden-Wurttemberg – Hockenheimring – 13 10 1968.

• Interviewed later, Brambilla had this to say about his win in Germany: “My greatest moment? Naturally, the 13th of October when I raced at Hockenheim… An incredible joy”. The win also made an impression on Enzo Ferrari, who wrote in Pilote Che Gente: “He was the first to win with the Dino Formula Two, which I will not forget.”

This original F2 trophy was awarded on September 10, 1950 to Ascari for winning the first heat in the Ferrari 166 F2 (time 1:24’58”) at the Circuit De Mettet in Belgium at I Grandee Trophée Entre Sambre et Meuse.  He also achieved fastest lap during the race.

This original Vermut Martini  cup was awarded to Ascari for achieving the fastest lap in the debut of Vittorio Jano’s masterpiece Lancia D50 at Barcelona.  The museum quality trophy measures 17″ tall with wooden base and bears a silver hallmark on the base rim. It also features a cloisonne logo of race sponsor Martini.

• This is accompanied by a certificate dated 5/12/95 in Italian written and signed by Alberto’s wife.
