1925 Le Mans 24 Hours official event poster – 3me Grand Prix d’Endurance de 24 Heures (Coupés Rudge-Whitworth)
This is a very rare original poster from the third ever 24 hour event at Le Mans. It features artwork by Ch. Tranchant showing what appears to be a Voisin speeding at night. The poster measures 23.5×35.5″ / 60x90cm and is in very good original condition and linen mounted.
This event was won by Gerard Des Courcelles and Andre Rossignol in their Lorraine-Dietrich B3-6, and it was the first time the race commenced with the famed ‘Le Mans start’ where the drivers ran for their cars.
