1937 Bugatti signed Laisser-Passer document.
This is a 4×6″ / 10x15cm pass filled in and signed on 29/10/37 by Mr. Pracht who was the Account Chief of the Bugatti factory between 1909 and 1939. This document was to be given to the guard at the door of the factory in the aim to leave the factory with a Bugatti. It gives the name of the driver (Pierre Marco, a pilot and employee of the factory, later director of the factory after Ettore’s death in 1947), the registration of the car (1245 W 5, that was a temporary registration owned by the Bugatti factory), and the reason of the transfer (to search a Lockheed pump at Entzeim airport, near Molsheim).
This is an interesting item for an aviation or a Bugatti enthusiast!
