1977 Lotus 78 Ford side skirt, ex- Mario Andretti.
Here is the complete original left hand side skirt from Mario’s #5 John Player Special sponsored Lotus. The large piece measures about 6.5 feet long (77×14″) and has been signed by both Mario and Gunnar Nilsson. Three Team Lotus win stickers adorn the panel commemorating their victories that year at USGP Long Beach, France and Spain. Mario has boldly autographed it in white tire marker and there is a photo of him with it. Gunnar has also hand signed it in pen. It of course available with our lifetime gallery certificate.
We cannot think of a cooler piece of JPS Lotus F1 ‘ground effects’ history to display in your collection!
The Lotus 78 campaigned all of 1977 and part way through 1978, Mario’s World Championship year.
