1978 Ferrari 312 T3 MOMO original steering wheel
This original wheel has been inscribed at the back with serial number ‘032’. Chassis 032 was the first 312 T3, it was raced by Gilles Villeneuve at the 1978 S. African GP (DNF), then later by Carlos Reutemann to win the USGP West and place 8th at the 1978 Monaco GP. This MOMO wheel shows signs of good use, with wear to the grips, mounting marks to include a ‘ring’ at the back and 4 drill holes, as well as characteristic black tape wrapped around the bottom spoke which matches several period photos.
- It is one of just 3 wheels used by Gilles in his first year in F1 and is of course accompanied by our lifetime certificate.
