This stunning large scale model was built by BELL / SportsEurope back in 2005. An edition of 250 pieces were planned, but in the end, less than 85 models were actually produced, and this one is 037/250.  The huge replica measures 3 feet long  (36 x 16 x 10.5″ / 91 x 41 x 27 cm) and weighs about 28 lbs / 13kg. As with most models of this immense scale, nothing opens, but it has a fully articulated cockpit and lots of external details with a lovely paint finish.

This replica is based on several early GTOs, including s/n 3323gt – 3387gt – 3705gt – 3607gt.

The 1/10th scale drawing is dated ‘4-9-57’ and stamped in red on the front and rear by Mercedes with the Tri-star logo. This rare original Bell HP7 Evo II helmet was race worn by the two time F1 World Champion in the Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 Hybrid during the 87th running of the 24 Heures Du Mans. Alonso, along with Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima, took both Pole and the Overall Win. This helmet still bears the radio system and FiA hologram scrutineering sticker, and has been signed and race dated – Le Mans 2019 #1.

This is a very significant piece of Toyota, sportscar and Le Mans history!
