1932 German GP at the Nurburgring poster – Grosser Preis des Automobilclub von Deutschland Nurburg-Ring

This uber rare vintage original poster is the only known example. The artwork by H.J. Moser shows a stylized Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza / P3 Tipo B leading a Bugatti Type 51 (T51). The large linen mounted poster measures over 3 feet tall (39.5×28″ – 100x71cm) and is in very fine condition with a minor tear that was repaired and some light restoration work to the top border. It was published by Denter & Nicolas in Berlin.

The event on July 17, 1932 was a total sweep for Alfa Romeo with Rudolf Caracciola winning, followed by Tazio Nuvolari & Mario Borzacchini, all driving an Alfa Romeo P3 Tipo B.

The 1932 event at the ‘Nurburg-Ring’ was the 5th event there, making this among the very first posters ever published for this historic race.

This fantastic piece of motorsport history is expensive, and will of course include our lifetime certificate. (xK22Ux)

Only 5 have been built exclusively for our gallery to match the powder blue car driven by Jean Pierre Wimille at the 1935 Belgian GP at Spa. The wire wheels have metal spokes and come off via the knock-offs to show the lovely brake detail. The engine opens with leather straps, the dashboard has turned metal and the chassis is fully articulated.

This large vintage original poster measures about 4 feet tall (31×47″ / 79x119cm + border) and features stunning artwork by Robert Falcucci. The art depicts a stylized red Alfa Romeo followed by a blue Bugatti speeding around a precarious Riviera-side corner. This poster is in very fine condition and professionally linen mounted.

While all of the 1930s-era Monaco GP posters are hard to find, the 1932 is the rarest one (considering there are no 1931s circulating).

First through third place that year was swept up by Italy, with Tazio Nuvolari in his Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza leading the pack followed by Caracciola (Alfa 8c) and Fagioli (Maserati 8C).

1/8 1924 Bugatti Type 35

This is a large fantastic scratch built and fully articulated model of the famous blue Bugatti T35 that campaigned at the 1924 French GP. Very few of these miniatures were hand built in France in the late 1970s and 1980s by J. P. Fontenelle and then later for Art Collection Auto.

It is constructed entirely from metal, brass, rubber and aluminum from over 800 individual parts, and no glue has been used. Our model has also been signed underneath by the builder J.P. Fontenelle.

The gorgeous replica measures 19″ / 48cm long and 7.5″ wide, and weighs about 12 lbs. It is in very good condition with only a slight patina from age. Please note these images were shot with a camera flash and the actual blue is darker. (xx1x) (NICN23)

1935 Bugatti Automobiles Autorails Molsheim poster

Ettore Bugatti designed one of the first modern high-speed gasoline powered railway systems in the world. His first train was tested near the Bugatti factory in Alsace, France in 1933. Prior to this date nearly all trains were hauled by heavy steam locomotives.

This is a rare original factory poster showing the Type 57 (T57) and the Bugatti-made train. It was published in Frankrijk, France, in 1935 for the Alsatian distributor (Bugatti Automobiles Autorails Molsheim – Alsace). The artwork by R. Geri (who frequently worked for Bugatti) is rendered to illustrate high speed.

This vintage poster is professionally linen mounted and measures 39×24″ / 99x 61cm. It is a first run original – printed on very thin paper – and in excellent condition on linen. This was printed in lithography by A. Michel of Strasbourg, and will of course include our lifetime certificate. (x1xx) (NIN24)
