This rare vintage original unframed poster is in excellent condition and linen mounted. It measures about 22×27” / 56x69cm and was published for Shelby American in period using artwork by George Bartell.

The image features the 1966 Le Mans winner P/1046 and commemorates the brand’s wins in both 1965 & 1966 at the hands of drivers Bruce McLaren, Chris Amon, Ken Miles & Denis Hulme with both the Shelby Cobra and GT40.

This vintage original poster was published in 1965 to celebrate Ford’s four finishes in the top five for this event. It has been reprinted but we are offering the first run original, measuring 23×34.5″ / 58x88cm and in very good condition. This poster still has the original factory fold lines from when it was mailed in period, but these lines were diminished by the professional linen mounting.

This museum quality model took the artist nearly 3 years to design, manufacture and build. All of the parts open with working locks, the wheels are removable, and it is complete with a display case.

This is a perfect scale replica of CSX# 2299, the car that won its class at the 1964 Le Mans at the hands of Bob Bondurant & Dan Gurney – arguably one of the most significant American race cars of all time.
