1937 – Steeper, Stronger, Faster

Bernd Rosemeyer in the Auto-Union C-Type Streamliner aggressively pursues the lead of Rudolf Caracciola in his Mercedes W25 Streamliner at the AVUS. Caracciola won the race but it was Rosemeyer’s 4:11.2 lap time at an average speed of 276.39 kph that made the history books, a record that remained unbroken for 34 years.

These are beautifully rendered digital prints in richly colored inks on a textured stock. It is part of a limited edition of 80 unframed high quality paper prints measuring 3.5 feet wide. (43×19″ / 109x48cm)

1937 – Hat Trick – framed

This is an original giclee on canvas showing Manfred Von Brauchitsch followed by Rudolf Caracciola in the Mercedes W125 s. They are storming up the hill past Hotel Beau Rivage. Von Brauchitsch wins the 1937 Monaco GP and Mercedes finishes 1-2-3.

This is part of a large format canvas edition of 100 prints which is now sold out.

1937 – Donington 1937

This is a large original oil painting of the 1937 Grand Prix at Donington where Bernd Rosemeyer won his last race in the Auto Union C-Type. Other ‘silver arrows’ include Manfred Von Brauchitsch in the Mercedes W125.

1937 – Bugatti at Du Mans – original painting

This is a stunning original oil painting showing the #1 Bugatti T57 G Tank driven by Pierre Veyron & Roger Labric at the 1937 Le Mans race. The Bugatti is being chased by various cars, including –

Lagonda LG45
Alfa Romeo 8C 2900A Spyder
Frazer-Nash BMW 328

The original painting measures about 35×25″ / 89x64cm framed, and no prints have been made.
