1969 Jochen Rindt FiA driver’s license
This exceedingly rare original license was issued to the German – Austrian World Champion in Vienna on Mar.4, 1969. It bears a stapled black and white photo as well as Jochen’s signature, year of birth, and home address. Inside it has been signed by the president of the ‘OSK’ (Austrian Federal Sports Organization) and stamped by the ‘AMTC’ (Austrian Motorist & Touring Club). It measures 10.5 x 14.5cm / 4x 5.5″ opened and is in very fine condition.
Rindt raced in Formula One from 1964 – 1970 and became the first posthumous World Champion driving for Team Lotus in 1970. He also won the 1965 Le Mans in a Ferrari 250/LM.
