This V-12 model is an exact recreation of the legendary Ferrari 250 GT SWB powerplant. It is crafted using the same technique and materials utilized at the Ferrari Factory, and is comprised of over 400 pieces including 26 hand formed sand cast aluminium parts with 7 core boxes, 31 turned stainless steel parts and 5 turned aluminum parts. The model is assembled by hand with 167 screws, without using any adhesives or plastic.

This faithful recreation of the original V12 makes a beautiful display in garage, office or den.

This large museum quality model is around 2 feet long – it measures 23″ / 58cm in length, 8″ wide and 12″ tall and weighs 18 lbs / 8kgs. It is complete with original certificate signed by the late Terzo Dalia, and dated ‘2001’.

This is a stunning large scale 23″ / 58 cm model of the iconic Porsche supercar. It has been built in GT Silver Metallic over Teracotta in an edition of 199 pieces. The detail is fantastic, all of the body parts open up, the roof panels come off, and the rear wing can be raised and lowered. There are over 2000 individual parts in this museum quality replica.

Each CGT model comes complete with a display base featuring a sequentially numbered metal plaque, and an acrylic dust cover. The case dimensions are 28 x 13.5 x 9″ / 71 x 34 x 23 cm  and the total weight is almost 20 lbs / 9kg.

The 60° V12 with six Weber 38 DCN carburetors, dry-sump lubrication, and a 5-speed manual gearbox have all been perfectly captured in great detail. The replica is comprised of over six hundred resin and metal pieces, and has been hand assembled in a small edition.

This large museum quality engine model is around 11.5″ / 29cm in length. It is complete with display base and case cover.

This is a precise large scale replica of the 1967 Belgian GP winner driven by Dan Gurney. This was a historic victory, as at Spa the Eagle became the first American car manufacturer to win a Grand Prix since 1921!

This large 21″ / 53cm long model is made from over 750 parts and has fabulous engine and cockpit detail, and a removable nosecone. It is quite striking in its dark blue, semi-metallic paint, adorned with white racing stripe. The distinctive ‘Eagles Beak’ radiator inlet is beautifully rendered, and features a fine mesh screen inside. The nose section is removable, revealing brake and clutch reservoirs, lower wishbones, top rockers, and the anti-roll bar. The wheels and tires are spot-on, and feature tiny tire valves, wheel weights, flexible brake lines, metal brake discs and detailed calipers.

The cockpit features quilted padding throughout, and a notable lack of seat belts. The aluminum monocoque chassis is loaded with rivet detail, even extending into the cockpit footwell. Behind the rollbar you can remove the two magnetically secured body panels to reveal the V-12, 60 degree, 3 litre Gurney Weslake powerplant. Just below the delicate protective metal air screen lie the staggered twin rows of air inlet trumpets, all beautifully machined.

There are red individual ignition wire clips to keep things tidy, and the sculptural exhaust headers are a delight. Translucent fuel and coolant lines snake their way around a jungle of suspension bits. Twin Fram oil filters nestle between the spring-mounted exhaust pipes which carry simulated heat bluing. Even the tiny throttle linkage return spring is under tension!

• This is part of a small edition – 250 models were supposed to be built by RAR back in 2005 – but only around 100 were made – and the edition has been sold out for decades.  This model is in ‘new old stock’ condition in box, having only been inspected once for quality.
