1/3 1959 – 1962 Ferrari 250 GT Competizione engine model by Terzo Dalia
This V-12 model is an exact recreation of the legendary Colombo derived Ferrari powerplant that was used in specific Scaglietti designed cars such as the 250 GTO, 250 GT SWB, 250 GT PF, 250 GT TDF & 250 California Spyder. It is crafted using the same technique and materials utilized at the Ferrari Factory, and is comprised of over 400 pieces including 26 hand formed sand cast aluminum parts with 7 core boxes, 31 turned stainless steel parts and 5 turned aluminum parts. The model is assembled by hand with 167 screws, without using any adhesives or plastic.
This faithful recreation of the original V12 makes a beautiful display in garage, office or den.
This large museum quality model is around 2 feet long – it measures 23″ / 58cm in length, 8″ wide and 12″ tall and weighs 18 lbs / 8kgs. It is complete with original certificate signed by the late Terzo Dalia, and dated ‘1999’.
