1/8 1937 Bugatti T57SC Atlantic – La Voiture Noire.
This is a replica of one of the prettiest designs of all time, captured perfectly in this 22.5″ long model. This Type 57 SC model features opening doors, wheel trunk and bonnet, and comes complete with leather base and plexi case cover. The model is built in an exclusive edition of 99, made from over 1800 parts.
- The elusive “voiture noire” chassis number 57-453 was the first 57SC built and is regarded by experts as the most pure of the 57SCs created. It was the only car to have the 57SC engine fitted originally. This car was used by Jean Bugatti as a demonstrator and was driven by many famous drivers of the day including Grover Williams, Jean Pierre Wimille and of course Jean Bugatti. It is also the car depicted in the Bugatti brochures and PR material of the time.
