1901 Le Petit Journal newspaper.
This is an illustrated 8 page supplement to the famous French newspaper showing one of the very first road races – Paris to Berlin (which occurred June 27-9 and was subsequently named VI Grand Prix de l’ A.C.F.)
It measures 12×17.75″ / 30.5x45cm and is in good condition but with yellowing and some staining – however it is in overall great shape considering its age! The main illustration by Yrondy shows the winning #4 Mors car of Henry Fournier who outlasted the Panhard, Renault, de Dion & Mercedes. This is dated July, 14, 1901 and titled – La Course Paris-Berlin.
