Description
1906 Le Mans program.
This is a real piece of racing history, the very first program printed for Le Mans, in 1906.
The 1906 French Grand Prix de l’A.C.F. was the first Grand Prix motor race and took place at Le Mans on June 26 & 27, 1906. Renault won the event followed by Fiat & Clement-Bayard. This original program is in good original condition and measures 24x14cm. It is complete, but with some foxing on the cover due to age. It is 72 pages long and has an extra map of the circuit measuring 63x40cm. It includes photos of all the running teams as well as lovely period ads for Fiat, Renault, Peugeot, Itala, Mercedes, Darracq, Rapier, and more.
- This incredibly rare program is the first we have ever seen, a real museum find, and it is of course accompanied by our lifetime certificate.
