1923-1924-1925 Le Mans poster set
On offer is a complete original run of the three very first posters published for the official Le Mans race by the A.C.O. This includes; the 1923 Le Mans poster, featuring what appears to be a stylized Bentley (22.5×34.5″), the 1924 Le Mans poster featuring a car speeding by some spectators with fireworks in the background (23.5×35.5″), and the 1925 Le Mans poster which appears to have a stylized Voisin on the artwork (23.5×35.5″).
- These posters are all linen mounted and in very good condition. This set is exceedingly rare, it is one of just two known complete runs of the first Le Mans posters on the planet.
This trilogy represents an incredibly significant piece of early automotive history and is fit for a museum.
