1955 – 1957 Jaguar D-Type owner’s manual.
This super rare original service handbook was published by Jaguar and has ‘Issued by Jaguar Cars Limited Coventry England’ printed inside, as well as the print date ‘7/55’ and ‘E/103’. This 55 page manual is in very fine condition, and measures 8.5×10″ (22×26 cm). It also comes with two copies of an ‘advice note’ for the book dated 19th July, 1957 and made out to serial 14756 owned by Tom Kyffin of Devon at the time.
This book is in very good condition though the cover is starting to come loose from the staples at the spine. It features sections on operating instructions, maintenance, engine, carbs & fuel system, cooling system, clutch, gearbox, etc.
