1955 Le Mans 24 hours handbill / leaflet.
This original 4 page folder measures 8×11″ / 20x28cm closed, and shows the Ferrari 375 Plus with artwork by Geo Ham (?) on the cover. On the back of the two pages opened up is a black & white drawn map of the race course, and a list of the prize money and ticket info.
- The race was won by Mike Hawthorn and Ivor Bueb in the Jaguar D-Type.
- The event was clouded by Pierre Levegh’s tragic accident in the Mercedes 300SLR.
- Several Ferraris campaigned here, including the 121 LM & 750 Monza.
