The First Ferrari by Alfredo de la Maria is an original oil painting depicting the 1948 Mille Miglia. Tazio Nuvolari drives one of the earliest Ferraris, the 166 SC (s/n 0IC/010I) with co-pilot Sergio Scapinelli ahead of the Cisitalia 202 of Scagliarini / Maffiodo and the Ferrari 166 (s/n 003S) of Biondetti / Navone, which eventually won the race.
The large framed piece measures over 3.5 feet wide (38×32″ + frame).
