1979 USGP at Watkins Glen poster
This vintage original poster is in very fine condition but with period fold lines and measures 20×26.5″. It shows Gilles Villeneuve in the Ferrari 312 T4 leading leading the pack, with artwork by Michael Turner.
- The Friday of this race weekend was so wet that only six cars attempted lap times – and in a masterful display of wet weather driving Gilles circled the track at a staggering pace, over nine seconds faster than the closest driver (all while suffering a misfiring cylinder). Gilles also won the race!
