This is an official notice sign, an order from the representative of the Rovigo government for blocking specific roads for the safe passage of the Mille Miglia cars. The original poster measures over 2 feet tall (19.5×27.5″ / 50x70cm) and is in great condition.
Alberto Ascari won the event in a Lancia D24 leading the factory-entered Ferrari 500 Mondial by 26 minutes—Ferrari’s first defeat at the Mille Miglia since 1948!
