1967 Porsche 911 R Nurburgring 84 hours factory celebration poster.
This rare original factory poster celebrates Porsche’s new Sportomatic transmission reliability and the winning of the epic 84 Hour Endurance “Marathon du la Route” race at Nürburgring from Aug 22-24. The event – dubbed the “World’s Longest Race” – was won by Hans Herrman, Jochen Neerpasch, and Vic Elford driving a 911R equipped with the new Sportomatic semi-automatic transmission.
The poster is oversized at 46.5×33.5″ / 118x84cm and is in good condition on linen with one small repair. The art by Strenger shows the winning Porsche 911R Sportomatic 2 car. (AL19N)
