1894 Le Petit Journal newspaper.
This is an illustrated 8 page supplement to the famous French newspaper showing the very first documented road race. It measures 12×17.75″ / 30.5x45cm and is in good condition with yellowing and staining, but is in overall great shape considering its age. The main illustration by J. Bexon shows the very first ‘horseless carriages’.
The magazine is dated Aug.6, 1984 and titled – Concours du ‘Petit Journal’ – Les Voitures Sans Chevaux.
