Description
2023 Le Mans Ferrari pit shroud #51
Here is a fantastic piece of Le Mans history – the original decorated number board from the winning #51 AF Corse 499P pit area! This shroud was designed to wrap around a frame which extends out from the pit wall, so the team driver clearly sees where to stop. It bears the names of the winning drivers James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi & Alessandro Per Guidi on one side, and the #51 and Scuderia shield on the other.
This is made from a heavy duty polymer core with a metallic external surface and measures over 7 feet long (88 x 50 “/ 223 x 127cm). The huge sign is in relatively good condition, but with minor warping from removal.
- This was an incredibly historic race as it was not only the 100th running of the 24 Hrs of le Mans, but Ferrari’s first factory win in the top category in nearly fifty years!
