Description
1963 Ferrari 250 GTO s/n 3387gt doors and hood
Included in this historical package are –
- Two original and complete #37 painted doors
- One original painted hood / bonnet
All of these items were originally fitted to Ferrari 250 GTO s/n 3387gt back in 1963. The car was first purchased by Mike Gammino and Libero Gerardi, and this ownership is documented. The pair took it racing to different venues, including the 1964 Daytona Continental 2000 km race. At that event the GTO wore #37 as per our black and white reference image of Libero Gerardi standing with his back to camera, next to left front wheel in the garage. Co-owner and driver Mike Gammino had a shunt in practice and so the doors and hood needed to be replaced. These three original parts were kept by a Gerardi family member since 1964 – and still bear the incredible patina from use and age!
- These three components are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the Gerardi family, as well as our gallery certificate.
This are awesome display pieces of history from the world’s most valuable car!
