- The name Countach originated from the word contacc, an exclamation of astonishment in the Piedmontese language. This particular vehicle was commissioned by businessman and F1 team owner Walter Wolf, who was well known to have bespoke versions of supercars made to his specific requirements. This red LP500S was the first of the three Wolf-Special Countaches produced.
