Description
1924 Italian GP (Circuito Di Milano) event poster.
This super rare original poster is in excellent condition and on linen. It measures over 3 feet tall (27.5×39.5″ – 70x100cm) and the images show it in its current state (on linen and flat) as well as its original ‘folded’ condition when we first found it. The beautiful artwork by Aldo Mazza shows a speeding stylized red Alfa Romeo or Fiat chased by a blue Bugatti. It is currently framed as showing and ready for display (ignore the ‘hotspot’ from the camera flash).
The 1924 event was the fourth ever Italian GP and it was won by Antonio Ascari in an Alfa Romeo P2 8C. In fact, the top four spots were taken by Alfas!
- This is one of just two original posters for this race we have ever seen….and as such it’s quite expensive. (xK52Ux)
