1935 Circuit du Haut-Jura poster
This massive original poster features artwork by Joe Bridge (aka ‘Jean Barrez’) of a stylized vintage car racing a motorcycle. It measures over 5 feet wide (61.5×45.5″ / 156x116cm) and was printed by ‘Les Ateliers Joe Bridge, Paris’. The event which took place in France near the Switzerland border, was sponsored by the newspaper Le Petit Parisien. The rare poster is in fine condition but with some slight tears and creases that were minimized by the professional linen mounting. We have never seen another original example!
This race at the Haut-Jura circuit featured both the typical automobile race as well as an increasingly popular motorcycle division.
