1937 Le Mans winner’s medallion
This original silvered bronze medal was handed to Robert Benoist and Jean Pierre Wimille for taking first place in the Bugatti Type 57 ‘Tank’. The vintage plaque measures around 7×5″ and has a wonderful patina.
You can see Benoist holding the box in the period photo right after the race!
This is a fantastic piece of Le Mans history! (T57G)
