1954 French GP at Reims multi-signed program.
This has been autographed inside on the driver page by Alberto Ascari, Luigi Villoresi & Prince Bira. Ascari and Villoresi both drove the official Maserati 250F, Bira a private one. It was the first time Ascari sat back in a Maserati since his almost fatal accident March 27 1949 at the Circuito da Gavea in Brazil. Fangio won this race in the Mercedes W196R Streamliner (first victory Mercedes in F1) followed by Kling (Mercedes) and Manzon in the Ferrari. Villoresi & Bira took 4th & 5th in the Maseratis.
The program is in fine condition but with worn covers yet strong inside pages and bold pen signatures. The cover features lovely artwork by Geo Ham. This is accompanied by our certificate.
