1956 Mille Miglia Ferrari Vetta chronograph given to Eugenio Castellotti.
This is an original 18K solid gold watch that was given to Eugenio Castellotti by Enzo Ferrari for Christmas in 1956. The watch has a 38mm case with a cream face and the Prancing Horse at 6 o’clock. The back is engraved Coppa della 1000 miglia, FERRARI and Per Eugenio Castellotti, Maranello, 25 Dicembre 1956. It functions perfectly and has a Swiss Valjoux 23 movement, and the inside case back is engraved 18K.
Eugenio won the 1956 Mille Miglia driving Ferrari 290 MM Scaglietti s/n 0616.
What an incredible piece of Ferrari and Mille Miglia history!
