1966 Grand Prix movie poster
This huge original French format poster measures over 5 feet tall (47×63″ / 119x160cm) and features the lead cast over James Garner (‘Pete Aron’) in the Honda F1 car at speed.
- It is in very good condition and linen mounted so that the original fold lines have been vastly diminished. At the top right it is period-stamped ‘Visa de Censure’ (very faint) with a small handwritten date code ‘1588-67’. These markings are common on original French posters published after 1960.
This is considered by many to be the finest racing film ever made, and this rare poster is quite cool! (x1xx)
