1970 Ferrari 512S – Nino Vaccarella letter
This vintage original letter is dated Oct, 1970 and addressed to the president of the driver’s association (Sr. Spotorno). It related to Nino’s accomplishments as a world endurance team driver for Ferrari, including his overall victory at Sebring with Mario Andretti (in s/n 1006), his 2nd place at Monza, 3rd at the Targa Florio, and other events driving the Ferrari 512S.
The letter is on Vaccarella’s personal letterhead and has been hand signed with a handwritten note at bottom by the late driver. It is written in Italian and measures 7.75 x 11″ / 19.5x28cm and is in fine condition.
