1982 San Marino GP at Imola poster signed by Gilles Villeneuve
This large official event poster measures over 3 feet tall (38×26.5″ / 97x67cm) and features artwork by Antonio De Guisti. It is in very good condition but with minor wrinkling and a few small tears to the border which will disappear with professional mounting. The artwork shows Gilles in the Ferrari leading the pack, and he has clearly signed right under his image.
This is a rare signature as the 1982 Imola GP was Gilles’ final full race!

Gilles placed 2nd in the Ferrari 126 C2 Turbo here after Didier Pironi snuck by him on the last lap, a move which enraged him and cost him his victory. Tragically, Gilles was killed just a few weeks later at Zolder.
