1991 Ayrton Senna signed replica helmet.
This is a replica of the special one-off Shoei GRV-4 worn by Ayrton at Jerez in testing in the World Championship McLaren MP4-6 Honda. The reference pic of him getting out of the cockpit is from the back of the 1991 Autocourse. At the time he was under contract with Rheos, so there is actually a Rheos brand sticker on the Shoei helmet! This helmet has a gorgeous white tire marker signature on the visor that is dated ’91’. Inside the helmet is a build sticker dated March 8, 1991 and inspected by by H. Takeyama. It was signed in-person for the original owner in the UK, and will of course come with our lifetime certificate of authenticity.
