1993 Ayrton Senna TAG Heuer personal watch.
This is Ayrton’s actual automatic watch, the TAG 6000 model WH5151 in stainless steel and gold with a white face and black leather strap. Ayrton wore this in the early ’90s and then gifted it to the recipient. It is complete with a letter of authenticity from both the recipient and our gallery. As Ayrton was an official ambassador for Tag Heuer this is really an item fit for a museum!
As far as we know only one other of Ayrton’s watches was sold over the few decades, back in 2007 through Bonham’s, where it fetched US$69 000. This one is less – but still pricey.
