1/5 1931 Mercedes SSKL
This is an incredibly complex and large scale scratch-built model made almost entirely from metal from around 4200 (!!) unique pieces. The body is brass over a wooden frame, just like the real car. It features full engine detail (as designed by Ferdinand Porsche). Nothing is missing on this spectacular museum quality model. A special edition of just 5 have been built for our gallery, and each one has been constructed differently (colors, steering wheel, leather seats, & other options) and is unique and a one-off.
- This masterpiece measures 3 feet long (36 x 12 x 12″) with engine cowl raised, and weighs about 40 lbs / 18 kgs. Enquire for more photos.
