1932 Bugatti poster
This rare vintage original poster shows a stylized rendering of a Bugatti Type 55. In 1932 Bugatti commissioned artist Gerold Hunziker to paint this artwork – and it has subsequently gone on to become one of the rarest and most iconic of all Bugatti posters. As an accomplished professional artist who was known for his Art Deco style, this remains Hunziker’s single foray into automotive subject matter. The poster was printed in period by ‘TRUB et Cie AARAU’.
This exquisite poster is large – having been printed for the Swiss market at over 4 feet tall (35.5 x 50″ / 90 x 126.5 cm). It has been professionally linen backed and is in very fine condition. (T55) (xK591Ux) (M24)
